Binh Thuan, 28th Dec. 2011- QMT and Ham Thuan Bac District People’s Committee celebrated the inauguration of the Ham Thang Primary School No.3 – a flood-proof community structure – in Ham Thang commune, Ham Thuan Bac district, Binh Thuan province.

 Thanh Hoa, 21st Dec. 2011 – QMT and Hau Loc District People’s Committee (DPC) carried out the monitoring and evaluation of 26ha mangroves planted in 2011 at Da Loc commune, Hau Loc district, Thanh Hoa province.

 Binh Dinh 26th Dc. 2011 - QMT collaborated with Tuy Phuoc District People’s Committee (DPC) on launching the inauguration of the Phuoc Hoa Primary School No. 2– a flood-proof community structure, in Phuoc Hoa commune, Tuy Phuoc district, Binh Dinh province.

 Quang Ngai 23rd Dc. 2011 - QMT and Mo Duc District People’s Committee celebrated the inauguration of the Duc Thanh Primary School – a flood-proof community structure, in Duc Thanh commune, Mo Duc district, Quang Ngai province.

Thanh Hoa, 21st Dec. 2011- Mangrove Ecosystem Research Department (MERD) of Center for Natural Resources and Environment Studies, National University of Hanoi cooperated with Hau Loc District Division of Training and Education and QMT on the inception of  a program on “Clubs for Green Mangroves” to be implemented in three secondary schools in villages Da Loc, Minh Loc and Hai Loc of Hau Loc district, Thanh Hoa province.

Quang Nam, 5-10 Dec. 2011 - QMT cooperated with Quang Nam Provincial Committee for Storm and Flood Control and Rescue (CSFCR) on a 5-day training course delivered to “strengthen capacity of village level rescue teams” within a framework of QMT’s program on “Assisting Localities in Establishing Village Level Rescue Teams” piloted in five provinces Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai in 2011.

 Nghe An, 3rd Dec. 2011 - QMT and Thanh Son Commune People’s Committee today inaugurated the Thanh Son Village Healthcare Center – a flood –proof community structure, in Thanh Son village, Anh Son district, Nghe An province.
