Binh Thuan, 28th Dec. 2011- QMT and Ham Thuan Bac District People’s Committee celebrated the inauguration of the Ham Thang Primary School No.3 – a flood-proof community structure – in Ham Thang commune, Ham Thuan Bac district, Binh Thuan province.

 Thanh Hoa, 21st Dec. 2011 – QMT and Hau Loc District People’s Committee (DPC) carried out the monitoring and evaluation of 26ha mangroves planted in 2011 at Da Loc commune, Hau Loc district, Thanh Hoa province.

 Binh Dinh 26th Dc. 2011 - QMT collaborated with Tuy Phuoc District People’s Committee (DPC) on launching the inauguration of the Phuoc Hoa Primary School No. 2– a flood-proof community structure, in Phuoc Hoa commune, Tuy Phuoc district, Binh Dinh province.

 Quang Ngai 23rd Dc. 2011 - QMT and Mo Duc District People’s Committee celebrated the inauguration of the Duc Thanh Primary School – a flood-proof community structure, in Duc Thanh commune, Mo Duc district, Quang Ngai province.

Thanh Hoa, 21st Dec. 2011- Mangrove Ecosystem Research Department (MERD) of Center for Natural Resources and Environment Studies, National University of Hanoi cooperated with Hau Loc District Division of Training and Education and QMT on the inception of  a program on “Clubs for Green Mangroves” to be implemented in three secondary schools in villages Da Loc, Minh Loc and Hai Loc of Hau Loc district, Thanh Hoa province.

Quang Nam, 5-10 Dec. 2011 - QMT cooperated with Quang Nam Provincial Committee for Storm and Flood Control and Rescue (CSFCR) on a 5-day training course delivered to “strengthen capacity of village level rescue teams” within a framework of QMT’s program on “Assisting Localities in Establishing Village Level Rescue Teams” piloted in five provinces Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai in 2011.

 Khanh Hoa, 12th Dc. 2011 - QMT cooperated with Cam Ranh City People’s Committee on the inauguration of the Cam Thinh No.1 Primary School – a flood-proof community structure, in Cam Thinh Dong commune, Cam Ranh City, Khanh Hoa province.

 Nghe An, 3rd Dec. 2011 - QMT and Thanh Son Commune People’s Committee today inaugurated the Thanh Son Village Healthcare Center – a flood –proof community structure, in Thanh Son village, Anh Son district, Nghe An province.

Thanh Hoa, 2nd Dec. 2011 - QMT and Tan Phuc Commune People’s Committee celebrated today the inauguration of the Tan Phuc Healthcare Center – a flood –proof community structure, in Tan Phuc village, Nong Cong district, Thanh Hoa province.

Ha Tinh, 1st Dec. 2011- QMT and My Loc Commune People’s Committee (CPC) celebrated the inauguration of My Loc Communal Healthcare Centre – a flood-proof community structure, in My Loc village, Can Loc district, Ha Tinh province.

 Quang Ngai, 21-25 Nov. 2011 – A five-day training course for strengthening village level disaster rescue capacity was organized by QMT in collaboration with Quang Ngai Storm and Flood Control Committee (SFCC) from 21 to 25 Nov. 2011. This is one of five training of trainer (TOT) courses delivered in the 2011 Pilot Program on Assisting Localities in Establishing Village Level Disaster Rescue Teams being implemented in Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai.

 Nghe An, 25 Nov. 2011 – QMT, Dien Hoang Commune People’s Committee (CPC) and Viet Nam Trade and Industry Joint Stock Bank (VietinBank) celebrated the inauguration of  the Dien Hoang Village Health Care Center – a flood-proof community structure, in  Dien Hoang village, Dien Chau district, Nghe An province.

Ha Tinh, Nov. 25, 2011, QMT collaborated with Son Phuc Commune People’s Committee (of Huong Son dist., Ha Tinh province) and Viet Nam Trade and Industry Joint Stock Bank (VietinBank) celebrate the inauguration of  the Son Phuc Village Health Care Center – a flood-proof community structure, in Son Phuc village, Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province.

 Quang Tri, 19 Nov. 2011 – QMT and Vinh Linh District People’s Committee (DPC) launched the inauguration of Tien Lai Flood-Proof Community House in Vinh Lam village, Vinh Linh dist., Quang Tri province.

 Da Nang 20 Nov. 2011- QMT has collaborated with Lien Chieu District People’s Committee (DPC) and Da Nang City Frontier Force to celebrate the inauguration of Kim Lien Marine Cultural Center – a flood-proof community structure, in Hòa Hiệp Bắc quarter, Liên Chiểu dist. Đà Nẵng City.

Quang Tri, 18 Nov.2011 – QMT and Trieu Phong District People’s Committee (DPC) inaugurated a flood-proof community structure – the Trieu Do Primary School No.1 –in Triệu Độ village, Triệu Phong district, Quảng Trị province.

Ha Tinh- Nov. 11th, 2011, QMT and Ha Tinh Provincial Storm and Flood Control Committee (SFCC) concluded a five-day training of trainer (TOT) course to improve capacity of 30 core members selected from four pilot village level rescue teams of Duc Huong (Vu Quang Dist.); Phuc Dong (Huong Khe Dist.); Cam Thach (Cam Xuyen Dist.); and Thach Dai (Thach Ha Dist.)

 Quang Tri- 24 October 2011, QMT and Quang Tri Provincial Storm and Flood Control Committee (SFCC) today opened a five-day training course of strengthening capacity of village-level disaster rescue teams in Dong Ha City.
